Round table devoted to the "Financial day"
On the 12th November, 2009 round table devoted to the «Financial day» took place at AB where various educational institutions participated. The organizer of the round table was an AB Finance Department, it was conducted by the candidate of economic sciences, Dabyltayeva N.E. AB President Aitbayeva L.U. and Almaty Humanitarian and Technical University Vice-Chancellor Kasymbergebayev B.T. gave a speech on the round table opening ceremony.

On the 29th October, 2009 at 11.00 a.m. signing of the Agreement Ceremony on the collaborative educational programs development in Islamic finances and Information Technologies between Academy of Banking and Selangor International Islamic University – College, Malaysia (KUIS) was held in AB. Within the framework of the agreement between two parties the most interesting and favorable for Kazakhstan students progression route was elaborated.

Students' admission party
On the 29th October Academy of Banking celebrated significant for all freshmen event "Students’ admission party" in the "GAS" night club.
The concert took the first two hours where prominent talents of our dancing group "Three flowers of East", Aidana with her unforgettable eastern dance and Aselya with a "Karlygash" song performed.

Opening of the stadium
Academy of Banking Stadium commencement meeting was held on the 24th October, 2009 at 11.00 a.m.
The stadium meets all the contemporary requirements and is facilitated with an artificial grass-plot, it was specially projected as a tennis court and football field equipped with modern floodlights which makes it possible to play even at night.

On the 22d October, 2009 a remarkable event took place in the Academy of Banking – a grand opening of the Center for languages which aims to provide qualitative education for those who are interested in studying Kazakh, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic and Chinese languages.

Memorandum with Malaysian University
The 23d January 2009 was marked by a significant event: Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in a field of Kazakhstan Islamic Banking was signed for the first time between Kazakhstan Educational Institution — Academy of Banking and Selangor Islamic University-College.
Universities have agreed on launching Educational programs at AB in English Language, about research cooperation, students and faculty exchange programs.
